A stupendous effort for this Rs.40 crores Kannada and Telugu film ‘Nagarahavu’ – 201st film of Dr Vishnuvardhana with charmer of silver screen Ramya playing the ‘Snake’ with Diganth in Kodi Ramakrishna direction for Pen Movies has given a glimpse of the film on Monday night at Bhumika theatre.

Nearing to one minute trailer was excellent. Dr Vishnuvardhana fans thronged the Bhumika theatre from all over. The control of crowd was very hectic issue for anchor Yethiraj. The traffic jam on KG Road was also because of fireworks conducted and fans in thousands coming to the event. The request and folding hands finally did not result in any untoward incidents.

Director Kodi Ramakrishna came to dais with Mr Peter, a technologist who worked for head replacement in this ‘Nagarahavu’ (he has worked for Bahubali and Ega), Gurukiran, Sallauddin, Sajid Quereshi and Ramya came up on stage for cheers, whistle and thunderous applause.

Sandalwood queen Ramya decked in red saree and spread hair came to the dais and the first thing she did was taking a selfi with poster of Dr Vishnuvardhana. Exchanging pleasantries with Sajid Quereshi and music director Gurukiran, Ramya stated that it was Dr Rajakumar family that introduced her to films, I had opportunity to work with Dr Ambarish and now the opportunity in Dr Vishnuvardhana film.

The film was started in 2011, completed in 2013 but the director high ranking Kodi Ramakrishna was waiting for a stupendous climax. The aspect of bringing in Dr Vishnuvardhana has worked out very well. Like all of you, I am also expecting anxiously to watch this film. I have done the role of ‘Snake’ she added thanking the team for such an opportunity.

Gurukiran who took the mike first announced that he is a fan of Dr Vishnu. There was opportunity work for his film and it is god sent he added.

Kodi Ramakrishna in his address stated that Ramya has talent, good wishes, her eyes and emotions are terrific. I wanted to do a film with Dr Vishnuvardhana when he was alive. It is happening now. Vishnuvardhana Zindabad he said.

Sajid Quereshi in his address pointed that this film ‘Nagarahavu’ would be a big milestone and fans should watch this film he mentioned.
